RADDIMON GLOBAL GROUP entertainment center v1 — assembled & audited

Dimon Global Group — Arcade · The Kodi Entertainment Center

Classic games on Kodi —
the sourcing guide.

The Group’s entertainment center plays classic games through RetroPlayer, the game engine built into Kodi itself — no separate emulator box, no bundled “build” of unknown origin. This page is the audited map of that setup: which emulator cores the center runs, where each core comes from, and where the games it plays may honestly come from.

RetroPlayer built into Kodi 21 Cores audited upstream only Games owned — or freely given Commercial ROM packs listed: none

What this is

An entertainment center is a pile of other people’s software unless someone checks the pieces. Ours was checked. Every component in the center — the Kodi platform, its skin, its streaming add-ons, and the emulator cores on this page — was traced back to its upstream source and admitted only after that audit. Anything whose provenance could not be established was left out, however popular it is.

RetroPlayer turns Kodi into a game machine: load a core for the system you want to play, point it at a game you have the right to play, and it runs — inside the same categorized library as the center’s films, shows, and music. This guide keeps the public record of what was admitted and what was refused.

The emulator cores

A core is the emulator itself, packaged for RetroPlayer. A core enters this table only when its upstream project and license have been verified — the same standard the center’s film and streaming components were held to.

Core Systems Upstream source License
Nestopia UE NES libretro — Nestopia UE, packaged by Team Kodi GPLv2
Snes9x SNES libretro — Snes9x, packaged by Team Kodi GPLv2 + non-commercial
mGBA Game Boy · Color · Advance libretro — mGBA, packaged by Team Kodi MPL 2.0
Genesis Plus GX Genesis · Master System · Game Gear libretro — Genesis Plus GX, packaged by Team Kodi Source-available · non-commercial
MAME 2003-Plus Arcade libretro — MAME 2003-Plus, packaged by Team Kodi MAME license · non-commercial
FinalBurn Neo Arcade — Neo Geo titles skipped: their BIOS is not sourced libretro — FinalBurn Neo, packaged by Team Kodi FBNeo license · non-commercial
2048 Standalone — the core is the game; no ROM file libretro — 2048, packaged by Team Kodi Public domain
Mr. Boom Standalone — Bomberman-style; no ROM file libretro — Mr. Boom, packaged by Team Kodi Free & open source

Every core above installs through Kodi’s official repository (Game add-ons → Emulators) and was chosen partly because it needs no BIOS file — the center sources no BIOS files, ever. A core is an emulator only: it ships with no games. On the center’s Linux build, the cores present in the official repository’s Game add-ons category are the ones installed; a core absent there is skipped, never fetched from an unofficial build repository.

Sourcing games — the legal map

Play what you own

The straightforward lane: games you own on cartridge or disc, dumped from your own media, played on the center like the original hardware played them. Ownership is what makes the copy right — the center is a player, and a player is only as honest as what it is fed.

Freely given

A real catalog of classic-style games is simply given away — public-domain releases, homebrew written by its own authors for old hardware, and works whose rights holders released them for free. Those sources are audited like everything else on this page: a source is listed only when its rights status is stated plainly by the source itself.

Source What it offers Rights status
PDRoms An archive of public-domain and homebrew games for classic systems — that is the whole collection, by policy. PD & homebrew only — the archive’s own stated policy
GBDev Homebrew Hub New Game Boy games, written and given away by the developers who made them. Homebrew — free from the creators
itch.io — retro & homebrew New games for old systems, published by their makers — for example Tobu Tobu Girl, a Game Boy game given away free by Tangram Games. Free from the developers; some titles fully open source
archive.org — homebrew collections Homebrew-only compilations, shelved as what they are: the RetroPie Homebrew Collection and the Romhacking.net Homebrew collection. Homebrew-only compilations
Seeded on day one

The Games library opened with five titles, every one of them verified before it was loaded: 2048 and Mr. Boom — complete games in core form, no ROM file at all; Super Uwol, an NES homebrew game distributed free by its creators, the Mojon Twins; and Tobu Tobu Girl with its Deluxe edition — Game Boy homebrew from Tangram Games, open source (MIT / CC-BY) and given away by the developers.

One caution carried over from the audit: a famous shelf is not a rights clearance. archive.org also hosts bulk uploads of commercial games; hosting is not a license, and those collections are not sources — here or anywhere on this site. The homebrew collections above are approved precisely because they are homebrew by construction.

Not listed — and why

Commercial ROM packs are other people’s property. The big “every game ever” collections circulating online are copies of games whose rights belong to their publishers and creators; downloading them is taking, whatever the download site calls it. They are not listed here, they are not installed on the center, and no page of this firm will point at them.

The center plays what its owner owns, or what was freely given. That is a smaller shelf than the pirate catalog — and every item on it is actually his.

How the center is organized

Five sections

The center keeps the firm’s organizing standard — categorized, tagged, and scannable; libraries, not piles. One home screen, five sections: Movies, TV Shows, Live TV, Music, and Games. Nothing sits loose outside its library.

Movies & TV

Local libraries with proper metadata, scraped and shelved the Kodi-standard way. The starter film library was seeded with public-domain features whose status was verified title by title — the same audit habit as everything else on this page.

Live TV

Free, legitimate, ad-supported channels through add-ons from Kodi’s official repository — Pluto TV is the headline lane — plus the official PVR IPTV Simple Client pointed at iptv-org’s US playlist, a community-maintained open list whose inclusion rule is that the broadcaster itself publishes the stream. The services’ own streams, ads intact, no account tricks. A channel source that cannot be traced does not get plugged in — and any playlist promising premium cable or sports “free” is pirated redistribution, and is refused on sight.

Music

The center’s music library sits in the same catalog discipline — local files, properly tagged, plus open internet-radio directories (Radio-Browser, SomaFM, SHOUTcast) from the official repository. The Group’s own music program — original works, license noted track by track — is published on the Music page.

The Dimon Build

The whole center is a named, reproducible build — Dimon Build v1: a fixed component list, every entry sourced from the official Kodi repository or a verified upstream, exported as a package that can be rebuilt on fresh hardware and come out identical. One skin — Arctic: Zephyr – Reloaded, the modern streaming-service face, with the featherweight Amber skin as the standing fallback — one standard, no wizard, no remote code pulls. If a part cannot be traced, the build does without it.

Build log

The center’s record, kept the way the firm keeps every record: dated, and only what is true.

2026-11-02

Entertainment Center v1 assembled. Kodi 21 “Omega” installed as an application on a Raspberry Pi 5, configured as Dimon Build v1: one audited skin, categorized libraries (Movies / TV Shows / Live TV / Music / Games), legitimate free streaming from the official Kodi repository, and a starter film library of public-domain features verified title by title before a single file was downloaded. The Games section runs on RetroPlayer with eight audited libretro cores, seeded with public-domain and homebrew titles only.

Every candidate component was traced to its source before admission; the famous all-in-one “builds” of the Kodi scene were examined and refused — unlicensed content sources and code nobody can account for. The audit dossier is part of the build’s own record.

2026-11-02

This guide published. The sourcing guide opens complete from the finished audit: the emulator-core table and the public-domain / homebrew source list name only what was traced and verified first. New entries will be added the same way — audited, then listed, never the other way around.

“A game you have no right to play is not a gap in the catalog. It is the catalog working.”

The center’s film program lives on the Cinema page, its original music on the Music page, and its engineering record on the Systems page.
